Elkton School District 5-3 to celebrate School Board Recognition Week
The Elkton School will join districts across the state to thank school board members for their leadership and service to our local school district and community during South Dakota School Board Recognition Week from February 17-21.
This week is a wonderful opportunity to recognize our school board for their dedication to our children and our community.
This group consists of Board President, Arend Schuurman, Vice President, Nathan Kinner and Board members, Waylon Blasius, Brittany Venekamp, and Bradley Neill. They are responsible for setting the vision and goals for the district and strive to provide a quality education for our students.
During School Board Recognition Week, the Elkton School invites students, staff, and community members to take part in thanking its school board members.

5th grade have been spreading kindness reminders around the building during guidance the past week. Random Act of Kindness Week is February 14-20, so pass the cheer along and do something kind for someone this week!

Girls' Basketball today at Canistota has been postponed. The game will be played on Tuesday, February 18th with JV at 6:15pm and Varsity at 7:45pm
