We are beyond excited to share the news that one of our students, Adam Kinner, earned a PERFECT SCORE on the Spring 2025 SD Math Assessment. This is a rare and outstanding accomplishment that places Adam among the top-performing students in the state. What an exceptional academic milestone, Adam!! Congratulations!

Last night, the elves in kindergarten and second grade (Frosty, Candyman, and Ella) caught Mrs. Neill trying to catch them! 😄 Santa decided she needed to stay inside the gift until after school started today. 🎁
Students were reminded to keep being kind, honest and to stay in the nice list…and that Santa is watching! 👀

The Elks take on the Sharks from Iroquois-Lake Preston tonight in a DVC double-header! All 4 games will be played in the South Gym, with tip-off of the JV girls matchup set for 4:00. UPDATES!! A few lower level basketball game updates for recently postponed games.
Tonight's girls basketball games against Iroquois/Lake Preston have been postponed and will be played as part of a double header tomorrow evening in Elkton. JV Girls will play at 4:00, JV Boys at 5:00, Varsity Girls at 6:15, and Varsity Boys at 7:45. The C and Junior High games will be made up at a later date.
Update: The fire alarm sounded in our building a little after 1:00 this afternoon. Students and staff were evacuated and then returned inside quickly when the source of the issue was located. The culprit responsible for hitting the alarm was discovered to be a loose basketball in gym class. The basketball has been given detention for the rest of the week.

Due to an equipment issue in the Lake Benton gym, tomorrow's girls basketball game against Iroquois/Lake Preston is being moved to Elkton. Game times will remain the same.
