I want to give a shout out to our lunchroom staff and all other staff that stepped up today to get all our students (K through 12) fed in a little over 50 minutes. Thank you for showing us Elk Pride! 🍽️💙🦌🤍🦌🍽️

The Elkton School District will be dismissing early today at 12 o'clock based on the weather conditions and forecast. We are running an abbreviated seven period schedule which includes serving lunch.

Yesterday - our Kindergarten through 6th grade students had a representative from American Heart Association join us for our Kids Heart Challenge Kickoff!
We have officially started our fundraiser, and your child should have brought home a flyer to help get them signed up! Our goal this year is to fundraise $3,500! Thank you for your support!

Yesterday, we had 12 Junior High Students travel to Brookings for the Festival of Young Voices. After a lot of hard work during the day, they had a very successful concert!

Our school received a shout out from the Brookings Salvation Army for our efforts. Ms. Leighton, these students, and myself want to thank everyone again. It was amazing to see all these donations and to see the students come together to make this run smoothly!

Lunch menu change this week:
Wednesday: BBQs
Thursday: Quesadillas

Today these 8th grade girls attended the Women in Science Conference at STI! Students learned all about various STEM careers & programs for post-secondary education. They also enjoyed many hands on exhibits, taste testing cheese, & how to look for plastics in beauty products. What a blast!
