Seniors from Elkton High School and Sioux Valley High School will experience a “Reality Check” on Thursday, October 5th at Elkton High School. Students will visit stations manned by local businesses/organizations to learn more about the actual costs of living (taxes, utilities, housing, insurance, food, etc.) and will have to subtract their monthly costs from their planned future salary to see how their plans and choices stack up against their earnings.

Thanks to Cory Greenwood for speaking with Elkton students today! Cory was here two years ago and shared his "Your Story Matters" message with our high school and we were glad to welcome him back for assemblies with both elementary and JH/HS today. Messages shared included taking responsibility for choices, fostering healthy relationships, and focusing on what we can do to create change on our lives.
