New records alert! Senior Eliot Erickson set two notable school records in Friday nights win against Garretson. In the 69-21 victory, the senior rushed for 350 yards while racking up 6 touchdowns! The yards total breaks the old record of 293, set by Eli Swenson in 1994. Six touchdowns shatters the previous mark of 3, which had been held by both Ryan Krog and Tanner Stein. Congratulations, Eli!

Today we’re pointing the spotlight at Mrs. Wylie, our 1st grade teacher! Although she’s only in her third year as a teacher, she’s been remarkably adaptable, having taught a different grade each year. A Harry Potter fan, Mrs. Wylie has no doubt that Slytherin is the House she’d be sorted into. When asked what her favorite thing about the job was, Mrs. Wylie replied, “recess duty.” If that answer is truthful and not cleverly sarcastic, she has become the first elementary teacher in American history to give that response.
Thank you, Mrs. Wylie, for everything you do for your students and the Elkton School District!
