The boys basketball team opens up their season tonight in Elkton against the Castlewood Warriors! There will be 3 games, starting with the C team at 4:00, followed by JV at 5:00, and wrapping up with Varsity at 7:30. Post Prom Pulled Pork Meal will be going on from 5 to 8pm during the DH vs Castlewood on Tuesday in Elkton.

Come by the Elkton Community Center today to meet Santa, play games, and enjoy some chili - all while helping support Elkton High Schools FCCLA and Educators Rising groups!

Day 2 and Holiday Road is ramping up. Turns out there are several competitive folks among our staff.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and celebrate the season with us at our Winter Concert last night. The performances were fantastic…and let’s be honest, it’s not every day that a hippopotamus makes a surprise appearance in the middle of a song! 🦛🎶 We’re so proud of our students and grateful for our amazing school community.

Today was Day 1 of the Holiday Road “competition” for our staff! The game will run through next Wednesday and involves all kinds of goofy challenges that are worth points upon completion. Thanks to many local businesses and community members, we can give away cool items and gifts to the staff throughout the week as the game progresses. We’re excited to recognize those folks during the week, as well. It’ll all wrap up with several “Grand Prizes” given away at a staff celebration Wednesday!

Over the next few days, we plan to share some of the fun stuff going on our social media – so be sure to check back!

Just a reminder - the 7-12 winter concert is Mon, 12/15 at 6:30 PM in the north gym.

Junior Class Parents - Pork feed / basketball tournament planning meeting is Sun, 12/14 at 4 PM in the Elkton School lunchroom.

Due to high winds and ice, Elkton School District will start 2 hours late today, Wednesday, December 10th. Classes will begin at 10:30 and there will be no breakfast served.

Due to the forecast, Elkton School District will be releasing at Noon today, December, 9th.

There will be no afternoon PK, Boys and Girls Club, or evening activities. Tonight's JH/HS Winter Concert is rescheduled for Monday, December 15th at 6:30pm.

UPDATE!!! The JH games on Saturday have updated times. JH GBB will play 1 game beginning at 9am with 7th boys -10am, and 8th boys 11am to follow.

This week's event at Elkton Public School. Couple items of note, the school board meeting is moved to Wednesday. GBB Parents' Night will be on Friday at the home game against Estelline/Hendricks.
