Our students in grades kindergarten through second enjoy a morning of learning stations presented by SD Game, Fish, & Parks and Pheasants Forever. Students got to experience the following: -Seeing the methods used to train a dog to retrieve and follow basic commands. Pearl the dog was a very well behaved example for our students. 😉 -Learning more about pollinator plots and their impact on nature. Students made their own seed ball! -Doing a worm dissection with sticky, chewy, gummy worms! It was a great time! 🦋🐶🐛💙🦌🤍🐛🐶🦋

Could you use help paying for school supplies for next year? The Family Back 2 School Project is a program with a “store like” setting with school supplies available for the upcoming school year. This event will take place Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. The supplies available will be the items requested by the school. Registration is required and can be done by either completing the paper form that is being sent home with elementary students this week or by visiting bit.ly/familyback2school to complete the online form. All registrations must be received by July 26th. This program is for children entering grades K-12th grade for the 2023-2024 school year attending school in Brookings County. Families who receive free and reduced lunches or Economic Assistance, or if you do not qualify for either program and still need help, are eligible. Applications will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions about the program, please call Dawn at 605-695-4679 or Jan at 605-690-4319.

This yearbook is a Signature Series Hardcover bound and available for delivery after 8/9/2023.NOTE: Purchases made post book approval may be subject to different production and delivery schedules.
