Football at Freeman tonight!!

The school internet is up and running and tonight's JV and Varsity volleyball games against ORR are streaming on Elks Live.

Our building has experienced an Internet outage today, and although work continues to fix it, an exact time for resolution is not currently known. If the internet is restored this evening, the volleyball matches against ORR will be available on Elks Live as scheduled. If it is not, we will not be able to stream. Thank you for your patience as we try to resolve the issue.

If you aren't able to make it to the gym in Elkton for tomorrow nights volleyball matchup with ORR, you can catch the action on Elks Live! All four levels will be streaming live (JH, C, JV, V), beginning at 4:00.

Correction!!! On the weekly calendar, youth football was listed incorrectly as being at home against Estelline. Youth Football will instead be AT Estelline on Saturday. See the update events for the week here.

Congratulations Volleyball on your win in Castlewood last night! Up next, the Elks will take on ORR this Thursday in Elkton. JH will start things off at 4:00, C will follow at 5:00, JV at 6:00, and the Varsity match will begin around 7:15. #elkpride

Elkton-LB student-athletes read the newly created DVC Sportsmanship Creed prior to the football game vs Viborg-Hurley on Friday.

Last Wednesday morning, Elkton HS joined the 9 other schools in the Dakota Valley Conference for our 2nd Leadership Retreat. 80 students-athletes from across our conference worked collaboratively to create a DVC Sportsmanship Code. Along with creating the code, these school leaders spent time discussing topics in breakout sessions with the DVC AD's: 1. Current Issues in High School Sports 2. What Athletes Wish They Coud Say to Coaches and Parents 3. Building Positive Fan Sections 4. Leadership Beyond the Scoreboard 5. Social Media and Sportsmanship What a great morning for some of our student-athletes building relationships and sharing ideas amongst our schools!

Events at EHS for the Week of Sept. 1st

Home Opener for the Elkton-Lake Benton FB team as they welcome the Viborg-Hurley Cougars! 7pm Kickoff. FFA Burger Feed prior to the game.

If you did not purchase a 2025 high school yearbook at Open House and would still like one, additional copies are available in the office for $25.00 each. We also have a limited number of 2025 elementary yearbooks available for $12.00 each.

Cross Country Team will travel to Madison for their 1st Meet of the season! 1pm start time for the meet.
