School Picture Day is the Thursday, August 22nd.
It is easy to prepay your student’s school day pictures online! Visit www.schooltimephotos.com to preorder your pictures.
Picture packets will also handed out on open house night.
If you are ordering for multiple students, you will need to complete an order for each student you are ordering photos of if they are not in the same school.
How To Order Picture Day Photos Online:
1. Go to www.schooltimephotos.com
2. Click on “Order Here”
3. Enter “ELSD” for the event name, click “search.”
4. Click on your school district.
5. Click on your student’s school.
6. Enter your email address and click “login.” All orders are tracked with the email address you enter.
7. You should now see a page with our photo packages. Choose from any of our packages and/or order ala-carte items.
8. Once you are done shopping, click on the “shopping cart” icon. You will be prompted for your student’s information as well as yours. That is, it!
Picture Info You Should Know:
• All Picture Packages are on sale until 3 days after Picture Day!
• A valid email address is required to place an order.
• You will receive a confirmation email once an order is placed.
• All orders placed through Picture Day will be processed and delivered to the student’s school 2-3 weeks following Picture Day.
• If you are ordering a Class Picture for an elementary student, the Class Picture will be delivered to the school about a month after Makeup/Retake Day.
• All portrait orders will be delivered to your student’s school.

Youth Football 3rd grade-6th Grade All students interested in playing Youth Football we will be handing out equipment, Tuesday August 6th at 7:30 pm behind the GEO DOME on your way to Twin City offices on the right side of the road. Sign up and weigh in will be at this time. The cost is $65. If this doesn't work, second time is on Tuesday August 13th at 6:00pm at the same location. Schedule Update for Workouts this week.
- We will have workouts at 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM on Thursday (the 25th) instead of having workouts on Friday morning. (No Workouts on Friday the 26th).
August 1st:
- 7:00 PM Player/Parent Meeting - Please do what you can to be at this meeting!
- Will be going over schedules, football handbook, practice, etc.
- Pictures with Lexy Lynn Photography will take place after the meeting.
- Can pay her that night for the pictures - the players that have been to acceleration should have received a picture form. I will have some available that night as well.
- If you cannot make that night - we will need to reschedule the pictures for your child.
Remember to sign up for the Family Back 2 School Project! The event day is Wednesday, August 7th.

Due to the resignation of Brooks VanDyke from the Elkton School Board, a special board meeting will be held on August 7th at 6:30 pm to interview and appoint a replacement. School board policies BBC, BBE, and BBEA detail how the board will handle this vacancy and can be found on the school website. An application form may be obtained at the school business office or on the school website if you wish to apply for this opening. The business manager will contact those that have applied to have them attend the special meeting and be interviewed by the school board. All applications are due to the business manager by mail or in person by August 5th at 1 PM. If you have any questions, please contact Business Manager Mike Frederiksen at 605-542-2541.

There is still time for elementary girls to sign up for Girls Basketball Training Camps with Coach Vincent this summer. The dates are June 25,26, and 27th. Third and fourth grade will go from 9am - 10am. First and second grade will go from 10am - 11am.
