
The Delta Dental Van is coming to Elkton again this summer July 24-25!
Care is provided to children from their 1st tooth through age 21 who haven’t seen an area dentist in two years. There is no cost to the child or family. No insurance is needed. Information flyers will also be sent home with elementary this week.

Maya and Keira will advance to National FCCLA. This will be held in Denver, Colorado this upcoming July.

Our Elementary Spring Concert is just one week away! The concert will be held at 6:30PM on Monday, May 1st. Students should dress in nice clothes (dresses, skirts, nice shirts, nice pants, or nice jeans with no holes). Students involved in band will need to report to the band room by 6:25PM. Elementary Students will need to report to their classrooms no more than 10 minutes before their performance. The art of Elementary students will also be displayed in the North gym and in the lunchroom.
Please note: doors will open at 6:15. We ask that you be respectful of this time. This allows staff to eat and get their own children ready for the concert. We appreciate your understanding.


8th Grade Parent Night was held Monday night and 25 of our 31 students/parents attended! If you were unable to attend, a packet of information is in the mail. Please review the information, sign the forms, and return to school by May 12th! Contact Bonnie Yackley with any questions!

Youth Tumbling Classes
Coach Bye will be offering tumbling classes for students currently in Kindergarten-5th grade (2022-2023 school year).

Order your Elementary Yearbook. The yearbook is a full color soft bound and available for order by April 24th so they can be delivered by May 24th. They will still be able to order after the 24th of April but they will be more expensive and delivery won’t be to the school.

Congratulations to the Boys 400 Meter Relay team, as they broke the School Record on Tuesday in Centerville with a time of 45.9 seconds.
Team members include: Riddick Westley, Quinten Poindexter, Tanner Stein, and Blake DeVries.

Spring Sports Pictures from Starrography have been postponed to next Wednesday, April 12th at 1:30 pm.

Kindergarten screening is next Wednesday. If you are out of the district or your child did not attend Elkton Preschool, please call today to set up an appointment time!
Elkton Public Schools Kindergarten Screening (for students who will be entering Kindergarten Fall 2023 and have not been in the Elkton Preschool/Jr. Kindergarten program) will be held on April 12th. The screening will take 20 minutes. During this time, the Preschool teacher will do an informal assessment with the student while parents will have an opportunity to meet with the Kindergarten teachers and register their child for Kindergarten.
Please call the school, 605-542-2541, to make an appointment for your child's screening.
Students who are currently enrolled in the Elkton Preschool/Jr. Kindergarten class do not need to be screened. Parents who live outside of the Elkton School District may apply for open-enrollment for their child when at the screening.
